Ticket To Work

Ticket to Work is a program of the Social Security Administration (SSA) and available to all individuals between the ages of 18 – 60 receiving either SSDI or SSI disability income. The program encourages Ticket holders to return to the workforce. Assistance is provided by certified Employment Networks (EN) and is free to qualified Ticketholders. The goal of Ticket to Work is to promote full employment and income self-sufficiency.

New England Business Associates (NEBA) is a certified EN and assists individuals across the United States in developing individualized presentation skills to obtain employment in their field of expertise. Areas of focus include resume development, personalized interview skills, and ongoing employment supports as needed.

Self Employment
Individuals seeking support in starting their own business, writing a valid business plan and business implementation support can use their Ticket to work with NEBA’s business development program. Initial interview explores the feasibility of the Ticket holder’s business idea. Subsequent sessions develop the financial information related to growing the business and the marketing strategies necessary to develop customers and clients.

All support through the SSA Ticket to Work program presumes the SSA beneficiary’s Ticket can be assigned to NEBA.
